The vortex principle

Due to a cyclonic suction of the dirt, the Vortex swimming pool robots do not lose any suction power. The tilting of the motor causes a cyclone. This ensures that the dirt does not cling to the filter, but continues to rotate. As a result, the Vortex pool vacuum cleaner from Zodiac maintains a homogeneous and powerful suction force.

Four wheel drive

The 4 wheels of the Vortex 4WD devices (RV5400/Vortex3 4WD & RV5500/Vortex4 4WD) are driven via gear cassettes. The special tires provide extra grip. This ensures that the device “sticks” better to the wall and bridges obstacles more easily. There is also a 3D sensor that corrects the device when it passes an obstacle.

LIFT OUT system

The lift out system of the Vortex series makes this swimming pool robot series unique! At the push of a button, the device rises to the side of the pool. This ensures that you no longer have to pull the cable and there is therefore no risk of water infiltration through the cable into the engine block. The device is designed in such a way that when it is removed, the water drains out of the device faster.

Filter full indication

When the filter basket of the Vortex 4 4WD swimming pool robot is full, an LED lights up to indicate that the filter needs to be rinsed. This ensures that your device always works with a clean filter and retains all the strength to climb the wall.
