HTH Chlorine Sticks 300g - unstabilized chlorine with high concentration

HTH Chlorine sticks are inorganic chlorine tablets without stabilizer for the disinfection of swimming pool water. Treatment against bacteria, viruses, fungicide and algae for private pools and public pools such as Hotels or swimming pools of Wellness centers. These slowly dissolving HTH tablets provide crystal clear and pure water.

In summary, with these HTH chlorine tablets you have a much better product than, for example, the current ones chlorine tablets 200g. These are widely used but have many drawbacks. These HTH tablets are the perfect alternative for this!

Instructions for use for the HTH choor sticks:

For continuous maintenance of your pool, place 1 stick per 20 m3 of water in the skimmer per week.

ATTENTION: never use in combination with other products. May release dangerous gases (chlorine). This can happen, for example, if you mix ph min and chlorine or use it at the same time.

Add the HTH Chlorine Sticks to the pool skimmer so that the chlorine level remains between 1 and 2 mg/l. You can measure this chlorine value with test strips.

The average daily dose is between 150 and 200 gr. for 100 m3. Therefore, it depends on the occupancy of the pool, exposure to sunlight and pollution from slides, rapids, etc…

First adjust the pH value - then add HTH Chlorine Sticks.

It is important to check the pH regularly so that the pH remains between 7.0 and 7.2. When the pH value is too low or too high, the chlorine in your pool does not work as well to kill the bacteria.

The plastic cover remains around the HTH chlorine tablet

Around the HTH Chlorine sticks, 300g cylinders a plastic shell. This plastic foil may remain around the HTH chlorine cylinder. This plastic casing around the HTH chlorine tablets ensures that the chlorine dissolves slowly.

Due to this plastic casing, the tablets dissolve more slowly and the tablet releases its chlorine to the water more slowly. This protection also prevents your hands from coming into contact with the chemical product.

The HTH tubular tablets can NOT be used in a chlorine dispenser such as the Hayward chlorine dispenser or the Zodiac Nature 2 chlorine feeder. Only round pills of 200g fit in these systems.

The advantage of NOT stabilized HTH chlorine

With chlorine without stabilizer you avoid the risk of about stabilization and blocking of the action of your chlorine. This is because with common (cheaper) chlorine, cyanuric acid stabilizer has been added to the chlorine tablet. This is useful to prevent the chlorine from being broken down by the sun.

The disadvantage of this stabilizer is that it remains in the pool water. Because after a few swimming seasons and with little water change, this stabilizer accumulates. The result is that at a concentration higher than 70ppm the stabilizer blocks the effect of the chlorine.

This ensures that bacteria and algae are no longer properly destroyed. This creates green swimming pool water.
