In 2010 ZODIAC launched the VORTEX at the swimming pool fair pool robots. They soon became the new reference in the swimming pool market. As a premium Zodiac Dealer, we have already sold a large number of devices with very positive reactions.

How does the VORTEX principle work?

The pump motor of the Vortex robot was tilted. Due to this suction method (from bottom to back instead of from bottom to top), the ingenious of Zodiac created the first pool robot immediately cyclonic suction force. The technology in this Vortex pool robots takes care of particularly powerful suction and swirl in the filter basket. This keeps the dirt better in solution and the filter clogs less quickly. The robot keeps one constant and high suction power.

Vortex 1 – swimming pool robot that only cleans the bottom completely independent of the filter installation with easy-to-clean filter basket.
Vortex 2 – swimming pool robot that cleans the bottom and wall. 1 cycle 2.5h. (NOT AVAILABLE ANYMORE)
Vortex 3 – swimming pool robot that cleans the bottom and wall. 2 cycles “bottom and wall – 2.5h” and “bottom only – 1.5h” (NO LONGER AVAILABLE)
RV4400 (formerly Vortex 3.2) – pool robot that cleans the bottom and wall. 2 cycles “bottom and wall – 2.5h” and “bottom only – 1.5h” + NEW control + NEW TROLLEY + LIFT SYSTEM
RV 5400 (formerly Vortex 3 4WD) – variant of the vortex 3 with 4-wheel drive. Better grip, better turning ability, more power for climbing. + NEW CONTROL + NEW TROLLEY + LIFT SYSTEM
Vortex 4 – pool robot with adjustable time, remote control, new contact + brushes and also an easy to rinse filter basket. (NOT AVAILABLE ANYMORE)
RV5500 (Formerly Vortex 4 4WD) – Variant on the vortex 4 with 4-wheel drive. Better grip, better turning ability and more power for climbing. Now also with new Kinetic remote control and LIFT OUT system.
