Hi Flow heat exchanger for horizontal mounting
The Hi-Flow horizontal heat exchanger is a solid and frequently used heat exchanger, with an efficient heat transfer capacity. The heat exchanger is specially designed for swimming pool applications and other applications where high capacity and minimal pressure loss is required. All models can be installed together with water heaters, heat pumps, solar panels and other heat sources. The design is light and compact. The material used – acid resistant stainless steel ASI316 INOX – has been selected for use in an environment where there is a risk of corrosion.
Hi Flow heat exchanger types
The heat exchanger is horizontal exclusive couplings, circulation pump and aquastat. There is a clear instruction drawing for assembly. Operation is simple and reliable. There is also a vertical version of this heat exchanger : Heat exchanger vertical
Characteristics:
- Efficient heat transfer
- Specifically for swimming pools (NOT FOR SALT ELECTROLYSIS BATHS)
- High capacity
- Minimal pressure loss
- Compatible with all heating systems
- Lies and Compact
- Heat exchanger in INOX 316
What capacity do you need for your pool?
The capacity you need to heat up the pool water depends on various factors, including Delta T, starting temperature, desired pool water temperature, cover (louvers or summer cover),…. To keep it simple, you can calculate that you need between 0.5 to 0.75kW /m³ of pool water for efficient heating. Please note that the capacity of the heat source is higher than that of the heat exchanger! A horizontal heat exchanger of 70kW with a heat source that gives a maximum of 50kW is completely pointless.
