The Vortex Pro 4WD pool robot RV5480iQ from Zodiac is the latest pool vacuum cleaner from Zodiac with a WiFi connection and adjustable suction power.

You can connect the electric cleaning robot RV5480iQ to your WiFi network, so that you can control it with your smartphone. With the remote control you can control the cleaning of your pool yourself so that your daily work becomes much easier.

This robot, like all other Zodiac swimming pool robots, still has an easy-to-clean filter basket, 4-wheel drive, fast rotating brushes & the lift-out system.

APP for smartphone operation

With this APP, the pool vacuum cleaner communicates with your smartphone. This makes it easy to read the notifications on your smartphone. You can also use this app as a remote control. You can also consult the user manual easily and quickly via this app.

The Vortex principle

The cleaners do not lose suction power due to the cyclone suction of the dirt. A cyclone is created by tilting the motor. That way, the dirt cannot clog the filter, but keeps spinning. As a result, the Zodiac cleaner maintains a constant and powerful suction.

Four wheel drive

Both the RV5400/Vortex3 4WD, RV5500/Vortex4 4WD and the RV5480iQ/Vortex Pro 4WD are driven via gear cassettes to the 4 wheels. The tires also provide extra grip. This way the Vortex robot “sticks” better to the wall and can bridge obstacles more easily. There is also a 3D sensor that corrects the device when it passes an obstacle.

LIFT OUT system

This new swimming pool robot from Zodiac also has the lift out system of the Vortex series, which makes these cleaners so unique! At the push of a button, the device rises to the side of the pool. This way you no longer have to pull the cable and there is therefore no risk of water infiltration through the cable into the engine block. The device is designed in such a way that when it is removed, the water drains faster from the device.

Filter full indication

When your Vortex pool robot's filter basket is full, an LED lights up to indicate that the filter needs to be rinsed. That is why all strength is maintained to climb the wall and your appliance always works with a clean filter.

Cable with swivel

The cable of the Vortex robot (4WD series) has a Swivelequipment that limits the entanglement of the cable during the movement of the robot in the pool. This pivot point rotates on itself and thus prevents cables from getting tangled.
