Hayward filter 640mm for private swimming pools

A few years ago, Hayward took over the Kripsol company – this was for the filters, among other things! The new Hayward filter 640mm has many qualities.

Sand filter quality

Hayward comes with these new laminated polyester filters of the best quality with an innovative design. The filter is without a plastic "foot" but is made with an integrated bottom for extra strength and a better structure from 1 piece.

The Twist Lock lid makes opening the sand filter very easy and maintenance-friendly. It is a practically designed swimming pool filter with a long service life in mind.

Filling of the 640mm filter

The filter can be filled with filter sand or with filter glass. For filter glass beads, we recommend taking 80% of the sand weight to determine the correct amount of filter material.

How do you determine which sand filter to choose

To obtain clear swimming pool water, it is important that the Hayward filter is properly dimensioned.

• The BTL 520mm is for a pump with a maximum of 10m³/h
  • at 15m delivery head/back pressure
  • for swimming pools up to 40m³
• The BTL 640mm is for a pump with a maximum of 15m³/h
  • at 15m delivery head/back pressure
  • for swimming pools up to 60m³
• The BTL 760mm is for a pump with a maximum of 22m³/h
  • at 15m delivery head/back pressure
  • for swimming pools up to 85m³
• The BTL 900mm is for a pump with a maximum of 30m³/h
