Alkalinity is an important water parameter. We strive for a value between 100 – 120PPM alkalinity in the pool.
This will ensure that the pH (acidity) value will remain much more stable. This is a “stabilization” for the pH value.

If there are many fluctuations in your pH value, it is certainly recommended to measure the alkalinity and adjust it if necessary.
